What will the apprentice be doing?
We are experienced in supporting apprentices in their development and duties will consist of but are not limited to:
• The support and maintenance of the business's software applications, enhancing current functionality with improved UI and back-end programming routines.
• Assisting with the support of your line manager with creating better user-friendly systems, through programming and development.
• The ideal candidate will be required to follow strict programming processes and identify any bugs or errors within the systems they utilise, then either fix or report to their line manager these issues.
• Support with other day to day development tasks instructed by line manager.
(Please note all of the above duties will be working in conjunction with your line manager and other team members, therefore significant support will be offered throughout, and you are not required to know all of the above straight away)
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Software Developer Standard Level 4.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full time permanent position available upon satisfactory completion of the apprenticeship.
