Overview: 

As a Data Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for general administration duties within the office as well as Data driven duties to help the business function more efficiently from both a finance and data perspective. 

You will be taking customer orders and inputting them onto the trinity system. 

You will be responsible for recording and handling all cash, cheques and PDQ’s that arrive into the depot, as well as helping out with daily office jobs including the post, receiving and processing orders.

Salary: £12,000 per year 

Schedule / Working week: 37.5hrs 

Core Duties: 

  • To keep track of orders, recording accurate data.
  • Cash postings - checking and recording all incoming account details, the amount of the delivery and the method of payment.
  • Responsible for taking orders from telesales and on a regular basis assisting in answering telephones and taking messages.
  • Responsible for certain administration duties within the office; confirmation, sorting the post, filing, processing orders etc.
  • You will be a data champion and look for ways of improving the report and analysis delivery.
  • You will maintain and process client data using internal systems and controls to check accuracy and completeness.
  • You will need to be competent in MS office package. You will interrogate large and multiple sources for data quality and trends.
  • You will identify the data quality issues and communicate them to the relevant teams.
  • You will work with Power BI reporting tool, interpreting the data, drilling down into various measures, asking questions will be the key to your role.
  • You will run monthly customer and client facing dashboard and reports which will support driving business performance and achieving internal targets.
  • You will provide support to the Data Team and key stakeholders within the business.

  • Accuracy when counting money, checking data and keeping records
  • Good teamwork skills, with office staff as well as drivers and warehousing staff

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

  • 3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
