What will the apprentice be doing?

This is a Level 4 Quality Practitioner qualification, delivered over a period of 14 months. Training will be virtual on-line with monthly visits from your assessor to the company.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Opportunity to progress to Quality Co-ordinator / Technician role after completion of the apprenticeship, other opportunities across the company

Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent English & Maths as a minimum (Grade 5/C and above) Essential
The main duties will include:
- To adhere to and promote safe working practices within the areas of responsibility
- Carry out factory inspections and daily check of machine logbooks
- Ensuring daily tack check is completed
- Communicating with other departments to ensure they are made aware of quality issues which may affect them directly or indirectly, in particular IRR and USD product
- Conduct required quality tests and maintain quality records
- Ensure routine testing and recording of all products are carried out and maintained
- Assist in ensuring product specifications are adhered to by Production
- Assist in the investigation and completion of customer complaints and help with booking in returned reels
- Ensure all complaints are actioned in a timely manner
- Ensure all rejected film is actioned in a timely manner using available resources
- Assist with ISO 9001:2015 procedures and carry out internal audits as required
- Implement effective measures are in place to ensure process and product testing devices are appropriately verified
- Carry out quality projects as instructed by the Quality Manager
- Ad hoc support and administration to projects and group led initiatives as required.
