An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Administration Apprentice within Clinical Imaging at Royal Cornwall Hospital, providing an efficient Imaging booking service for the Trust. We are a forward-thinking service offering an excellent team environment and development opportunities. We are able to provide you with opportunities to work alongside colleagues completing all administrative roles to give you a broad understanding of the administrative functions in the NHS whilst also being an active member of the Clinical Imaging Team.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role will be to assign appointments for all Clinical Imaging modalities and be the point of contact for patient cancellations, telephone enquiries and any other duties relating to the booking process, however other duties will include reception and general administration duties. The role will include covering receptions in our local community hospitals when needed.
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills are essential. You will also need to be flexible with a willingness to work rostered evenings and possibly weekends, have an appreciation of the confidential nature of the work and be able to manage a workload to meet pre-determined targets.
