Nearest Station is Etchingham or Robertsbridge. Only bus from Robertsbridge 304/305 14 min journey.

Description of Vacancy

The position will enable you to learn all aspects of a busy office environment providing general administration support with mortgage and insurance processing, customer queries and arrangements with providers. Once the apprenticeship is completed, for the right person there is a long-term opportunity to undertake ongoing professional training and to make a career as a Broker.

Main Duties:

  • An office based administration role.
  • Answering telephones
  • Chasing 3rd party suppliers
  • Scanning and copying
  • General administrative tasks
  • Provide support to staff in the office

Wage

Starting at £5.00 per hour

£195.00 per week

Hours

39 hours per week Monday to Friday

9am to 5.30pm (one hour lunch break unpaid

20% paid time during working hours is given to complete training, referred to as “Off the Job Training”

Qualifications Required

GCSE Grade 4/5 or above (or A - C) or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths

Training Provided

On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard Business administrators have a highly transferable set of knowledge, skills and behaviours that can be applied in all sectors. This includes small and large businesses alike; from the public sector, private sector and charitable sector. The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.
