As a Finance Apprentice, you can join our finance teams and play an important role in helping the business deliver our priorities and build a stronger Morrisons. On our two-year apprenticeship you can expect to develop your knowledge and skills in different areas of finance, support future plans and make big decisions, making a direct impact on our business. Our Finance Apprenticeship, delivered in partnership with Kaplan, allows you to work towards a professional qualification while preparing for a brilliant finance career. Not only do we pay all your course fees for you, but you also work and earn a £22,000 starting salary.   

 

Achieve a valuable qualification and the start of a great career    

Join us as a Finance apprentice and you’ll develop new skills and knowledge, working alongside Financial Accountants and Managers. You’ll experience a variety of financial teams, launching your career in the best way possible. During the apprenticeship, you will learn how to: 

  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations 
  • Generate accruals, prepayments and adjustments 
  • Produce financial reports to help improve our processes and procedure 

While working with us, you’ll also be studying towards an accounting taxation technician apprenticeship (Level 4 CIMA qualification) at Kaplan in Leeds. Upon successful completion, you’ll have the opportunity to move onto our Level 7 apprenticeship and continue your development. 

 

What you need to join us    

A minimum of three 3 achieved or predicted A-Levels at grade B and GCSE Grade 4 in Maths and English is needed for this programme. Our Finance Apprentices will work within a big team, so great communication, listening and collaborative skills are key. Other qualities we’re looking for include: 

  • Analytical thinking with plenty of common sense 
  • Ability to solve problems 
  • Thrives in an exciting, fast-paced environment
