As a Manufacturing Degree Apprentice, you’ll help us provide top-quality food and the freshest produce to the community. Our three year Manufacturing Degree Apprenticeship, delivered in partnership with the University of Bradford, allows you to work towards a degree while preparing for a brilliant management career within our unique food retail business. Not only do we pay all your course fees for you, but you also get to work and earn a £22,000 starting salary while you’re studying

Achieve a valuable degree and the start of a great career

Join us on the Manufacturing Degree Apprenticeship and you’ll work across a variety of manufacturing teams to gain an understanding of equipment, processes and technologies. Gain hands-on experience, learning from skilled team members from all areas of the site. Day-to-day tasks that you will be responsible for could include:

  • Running production lines and leading our production teams Providing support at our Flowerworld site at peak trading times, such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day Finding solutions to improve the efficiency of production lines

By the end of the scheme, you will have the skills and experience needed to progress into a Shift Manager role within one of our manufacturing sites.

As well as learning on-the-job, you’ll also be studying towards a BSc (Hons) Management and Business at the University of Bradford. Balancing work and a degree course will be challenging. To support your learning, we will offer you study leave so you can complete your assignments and concentrate on your university studies. At the end of the 3 year scheme you will gain a full chartered membership of the CMI (Chartered Management Institute).

What you need to join us

A minimum of 112 UCAS points and GCSE Grade 4 in Maths and English are needed for this programme. Our Manufacturing Degree Apprentices also need a few key attributes to succeed. These include:
