Job Description:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic administrator to join our HR Team with an aspiration in building a career in HR. The successful candidate will play an essential role within our Company, delivering a seamless service in supporting the HR team. They will enjoy working in a fast paced environment, be able to multi-task and keep on top of short deadlines, have a helpful and friendly attitude, and have some previous administrative experience.

Reporting to the HR Senior Business Partner, specific duties will include:

Recruitment Administration:

  • Support end to end recruitment and selection for all Grade 1- Grade 4 vacancies
  • Engage with hiring managers to elicit a full vacancy brief and ensure appropriate approval
  • Dedicated HR point of contact for Recruitment
  • Operate and maintain of our web based ATS / recruitment platform, job boards and subscriptions
  • Obtain and convey interview feedback to candidates or agencies in a timely manner (for all grades)

Contract Management:

  • Drafting and preparing employment contracts
  • Maintain and update contract changes
  • All related administration to ensure compliance

Induction Meeting Management:

  • Scheduling of all Company inductions
  • Manage calendar invites and rescheduling
  • Manage Benefits Administration
  • Liaising with employees and external providers to manage Life Assurance and Bupa Healthcare Scheme memberships, including answering queries and scheduling meetings
  • Manage employee benefits records, schemes, requests, on our People Management System, Cezanne HR
  • Key point of contact for our Staff awards and staff referral schemes
  • Monitor shared HR Inboxes

Update and maintain our People Management System, Cezanne HR:

  • Starter process administration
  • Leavers process administration
  • Employee changes, such as Pay Award administration, address changes, promotions.
  • Managing all the HR files in line with GDPR such as uploading documents related to starters, leavers changes
  • Prepare quarterly Staff meeting HR slide update
  • Maintaining our internal MS Teams page with any changes or updates

Training Provided:

As a HR Support Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the HR Support Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, which is aligned with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Upon completion you will be awarded the CIPD Foundation Certificate and you will be able to apply for Membership of CIPD.

The apprenticeship will be delivered through a blend of live online learning, pre-recorded lectures, and face to face inductions and masterclasses.


Fixed term contract of 18 months


  • Experience of working in an office environment
  • Administrative experience is desirable but not essential
  • Strong computer literacy skills, being proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A desire to work towards and achieve CIPD Level 3 or equivalent

  • A highly proactive, positively minded and adaptable individual
  • A self-starting personality with strong organisational skills who thrives on the challenge
  • Excellent time management abilities, with the ability to prioritise within a dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a team player and somebody that will pick up on the workload of others when time constraints apply
  • Able to multi-task; build and maintain good relationships with all levels of management

Qualifications Required:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSE's (or equivalent qualification), to include Maths & English

Future Prospects:

Opportunity to continue in HR Administrator position following successful completion of the apprenticeship, dependent on business needs at the time.
