Job Details
The Apprentice Operational Procurement Assistant will support the operational procurement team, processing orders and requisitions in accordance with proceduresensuring compliance for revenue spend. They will liaise with customers, suppliers, colleagues in finance and receipts & distribution,investigating queries, providing assistance and advice where necessary. This post isintegral in supporting the Department in the delivery of the Trust's Procurement objectives.
Main duties of the job
To produce purchase orders, order amendments, tenders/quotes, letters and memoranda.
To handle telephone enquiries from customers and suppliers taking any such action that might be needed
Manage a portfolio of low value contracts
To resolve invoice queries liaising with finance, requisitioner, budget holder and receipts and distribution centre where necessary.
