We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Administration Apprentices to join our Talent Programme at Lincoln County Hospital.

As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will embark on a comprehensive 15-month training programme working towards your Customer Service Level 2 apprenticeship.

Main duties of the job

You will initially be allocated to a lead department where you will work alongside colleagues delivering day-to-day administrative support. Following an initial induction period, you will then be allocated to a department within the hospital in order to provide foundation-level administrative cover. Your placement will allow you to gain a broad range of knowledge, skills, and competencies to support your onward progression and development. Full training and support will be provided throughout.

Your duties will include:

  • Photocopying, distributing and filing documents as required.

About us

Whilst it cannot be guaranteed, our aim is to support every Apprentice to move into permanent post within the Trust prior to the end of their programme.

We currently have a high progression rate with over 98% of our previous Business Admin Apprentices being successful in securing permanent Band 2 positions within the Trust within the first 10 months on programme. It is our expectation therefore that our Business Administration Apprentices will be successful in gaining onward employment within the Trust from month 6 onwards of the programme.
