Job summary

We have an amazing opportunity within therapies at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust to complete an apprenticeship in Occupational Therapy. We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and motivated individual to undertake this training and join our expanding workforce.

The post-holder will be a trainee and will complete a BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy as a level 6 apprentice which will encompass teaching at the University, clinical placements and workplace based experience. The education and qualification at the university will be fully funded by the trust.

Main duties of the job

The degree apprenticeship programme combines and integrates both academic and work-based learning through close collaboration between employers and education providers.

The post-holder will continuously develop their skills and ability as they progress through the degree programme so that on completion they can manage and be responsible for a caseload, with supervision from a Senior Therapist/Team Lead, providing effective assessments and rehabilitation across inpatient and community services.
