Sports Coach Apprentice

What will the apprentice be doing?

• Successful candidates will deliver sport and physical activities to children and young people, both in school curriculum time following the PE National Curriculum
• Set programs of study and also deliver a range of OSHL, (Out Of School Hours Learning) extracurricular activities before school and at lunch times
• School holiday periods 5 days a week including some evenings and weekends

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The program will consist of online learning, webinars, practical workshops and workplace visits from a tutor.

On completion you will achieve a level 2 community activator coach qualification.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Full time position on completion.
