WHAT YOU’LL DO ON THE PROGRAMME
You'll be aligned to one of our business areas Civil Aerospace, Defence, Electrical, Group IT, Group Business Services or Submarines and complete rotational 'gigs', moving from team to team and project to project. You’ll make decisions that impact various areas of our business, from strategy to innovation, customer management to procurement and more.
You could see how we negotiate contracts on a global level, or support our commercial teams in Derby, home to the world’s largest and smartest indoor aerospace testbed. Or you might be involved helping purchase the parts for a highly efficient jet engine, a building or IT system. Across all of this, you'll focus on building strong connections with our partners, suppliers, and customers.
Thanks to a combination of digital learning and on-the-job training, you’ll build a wealth of new skills with the help of industry experts. People who are as invested in your success as you are.
This is your chance to gain a fantastic insight into a leading, global business. But it’s up to you to make the most of it. If you do well, you could be offered a place on our graduate programme - and build on the experience you've already had.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
This programme is all about potential and we're open to degrees in any subject. What's most important to us is that you live and breathe our values (Trust, Integrity and Safety) and behaviours (Agile, Bold, Collaborative and Simple) and want to shape the future of our business
You’ll need to be open-minded, curious, collaborative, and agile – someone who enjoys problem solving, and who recognises the power of teamwork.
It’s also important that you’re flexible about where you work and are willing to travel between locations if required.
