What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

As a Hardware Engineering Apprentice you will be studying towards a BEng in Electromechanical Engineering at Warwick University School of Engineering.

Our BEng Electromechanical Engineering Degree Apprenticeship is a full Warwick degree, studied over five years through on-campus face-to-face teaching and virtual learning experiences, with teaching and assessment having blended and integrated work-based learning throughout. On campus teaching takes place during six, one-week blocks, delivered by Warwick academic staff.

We offer a unique programme, demonstrating a mix of electrical, mechanical and general engineering input, designed to meet the evolving skills needs in this sector. You'll cover the foundations of engineering and electromechanical engineering in the first two years of the course. In the third and fourth years, you'll focus on systems design, including a group project design module, and in the final year you will be required to carry out an individual electromechanical engineering project within the organisation, to apply the knowledge and skills gained over the duration of the programme and create a real-life engineering solution.
