What will the apprentice be doing?
You will provide support to lecture theatres, meeting rooms, classrooms and event spaces, assisting with technology such as Crestron control systems, PCs, projectors, visualisers and lecture capture. Sometimes there will be the use of remote tools to monitor and help users and you will be part of problem-solving and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise. You may get involved in the process of upgrading in-room equipment, or aiding in testing new technology, and there will be additional work with audio and video production and live event streaming.

- Supporting teaching, events, and meetings
- Supporting and maintaining a broad range of AV and IT technology and services
- Managing support tickets and bookings within applicable SLAs
- Participate in the continual service improvement process
- To contribute to our knowledge base and documentation as required and adhere to University's IT policy
- Function as an ambassador providing advice and knowledge where appropriate

- Level 5 Audio Visual Training
- Day release at College/Training Provider
