Accountant Apprenticeship

We specialise in diversity and have built a global reputation for creating commissioned and original entertainment experience in film, television, games & theme parks., to recruit for their next accountant apprentice, based in Glasgow.

As an apprentice, what will I be doing?

This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in accountancy. As an accountant apprentice You days will be varied and will include the following:

• Tracking Supplier costs and reporting them to the Finance Assistant.
• Respond to invoice/ payment related queries and liaising with customers and suppliers as required.
• Credit card reconciliations, posting all transactions and receipts in a timely manner in line with appropriate approvals.
• Processing invoices accurately by required deadlines.
• Assist in month end prep work as may be required.
• Work collaboratively with the wider finance team to successfully deliver our joint goals and objectives.
• Undertake other such ad hoc functions as may be required.

What training will I undertake and what qualification will I get at the end?
SCQF Level 5 accountancy supported with a 121 coach and e-learning platform.

Are there any requirements for me to be considered?

You will have a minimum of National 5 qualifications from School, however if you have completed any mathematics/accounting specific qualifications, you will have a head start.

As an individual, you will be keen to learn and already enjoy working with numbers. You will be hard working and enthusiastic, with good communication skills. You will be a good team player, but also be able to work well individually.

Upon successful completion of your Level 2 AAT, dependent on your own progress, we would be keen for you to progress to complete both Level 3 & 4.
