What will the apprentice be doing?
You will work with the support of senior colleagues on flagship and regionally significant schemes across our defence, transport, infrastructure, healthcare, education, commercial, industrial and residential portfolios.
You will be given the opportunity to work towards professional qualification with the Institution of Civil Engineers.
You will gain experience and understanding of flood risk management, sustainable drainage and highways infrastructure. You will work as part of a team of engineers and other construction professionals through all lifecycle stages of development, design, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and decommissioning of civil engineering infrastructure.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
This position will include day release to complete a fully funded professionally accredited BSc or BEng civil engineering degree at a the University of Warwick.
Successful apprentices will gain a BSc or BEng civil engineering degree which is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators.
The duration of this apprenticeship is approximately 60- 66 months.
You will typically attend university 1 day per week during term time.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Career progression to be discussed at a later date.

GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 9- 4 /A*- C) Essential

BTEC or equivalent Civil Engineering Technician (Grade Pass) Desired
