What will the apprentice be doing?
During the apprenticeship you will be trained in all aspects of a busy subcontract manufacturing company. The skills will include operating a range of CNC machines. Momentum services range from one-off prototypes through to large batch sizes, using castings and materials for the construction, oil and gas, hydraulic and automotive industries. There are opportunities within the apprenticeship to be involved in all aspects of the engineering process.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
When the apprenticeship is complete we would hope that the appointed candidates will take up a full time position in their preferred role in the business, however this is not essential.

Things to consider
Please note that this intermediate (level 2) Apprenticeship will last 12-18 months. It will involve spending one day per week at Make UK's Training centre in Aston and four days per week at the employer's site for the duration of the apprenticeship. In house training will also be provided in line with your requirements. Clean and safe factory working environment.
