What will the apprentice be doing?
  • People applying for this role should demonstrate a clear enthusiasm for physical activity and sport and wanting to get the best out of other people and themselves. They should be trustworthy. They will be creative and have the ability to work effectively in teams motivating others around them
  • Meet outcomes and results with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on expectations for high quality standards
  • Critically assess own performance in a mature and credible way

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The programme will consist of online training, webinars, practical workshops and workplace visits from a tutor.

The qualifications you will achieve a Level 4 sports coach apprenticeship standard.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Full time position, further training and progression available.
