Duration of Apprenticeship:

15 Months 

Job Description:

2 year contract to be reviewed after completion of the apprenticeship (all training provided)

Manage student records held within SIMS, Go4Schools and other data systems ensuring a high level of accuracy.

Assist with the effective implementation of assessment tracking in Go4Schools, in a timely and efficient manner.

Manage the collation, production and distribution of student reports.

Manage the set-up and communication of parent’s evenings.

When fully trained share good practice in the use of SIMS, Go4Schools and other data systems to ensure consistency.

Liaison with other stakeholders to make necessary adaptions to student timetables.

Ensure data input from various members of staff according to agreed deadlines, and monitor non-compliance.

Input data and retrieve information, in order to produce statistical reports.

Assist with the development of internal data procedures.

Manage the administration of behaviour data and the detention procedures.

Assist with the administration and implementation of internal and external examinations as required

Under supervision deputise for the Exams Officer in any periods of absence or capacity shortage.

Any other duties as required in support of the Data Manager or Exams Office.

 Training Provided:

As a Data technician Apprentice with BPP, you will undertake the Data Technician Level 3 advanced Apprenticeship.

This programme is delivered through a combination of online teaching, coaching and workplace development, in addition to a range of other sessions to ensure that you progress as a well-rounded Data Technician.

 Qualification Requirements:

GCSEs in English and Maths C/4 or above

Broad education BTEC L3 / A Level equivalent

Time management

The ability to remain calm in a busy working environment and work under pressure

The ability to work accurately with large volumes of data/information

Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload
