Job Details

As a HR Admin Apprentice at Next, you will be supporting the business by keeping employee files up to date, updating information in the HR systems and answering HR queries. You will assist the People Development team with L&D coordination activities and support the L&D Specialists with administrative tasks. Over the duration of 18 months you will be completing the Business Admin level 3 apprenticeship alongside your daily roles and responsibilities - this is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for their first step into HR.

You will;

- Support line managers with employee lifecycle administration

- Review data input completed by line managers in the HR system

- Produce letters from standard template documents, which support HR services activity for example disciplinary invite letters, probation letters, welfare meetings

- Log information into the HR system and file associated documents

- Work within a team processing queries from the central mailbox and managing your own email inbox

- Process incoming and outgoing post for the department

- Plan and help coordinate L&D Specialist activities

- Complete room bookings and book external training facilities

- Order materials for the L&D team (e.g. reprographics, stationary, onboarding packs)

- Support general administration activities for the HR office

- Complete weekly apprenticeship requirements

- Provide telephone cover between the hours of 09:00-17:00, taking telephone messages and forwarding these onto colleagues
