Things to consider
Starting salary is £24k per annum with a view to increments in salary subject to performance whilst training. It is anticipated it will take around 24 months to become a qualified financial adviser with a view to on target earnings then increasing to circa £75k-£100k per annum subject to performance.
The role will entail training and working within all areas of our business. In addition to allocated study time for exams, whilst not an exhaustive list, you will:
- Be sitting in on appointments with financial advisers
- Working within our administration team
- Learning and understanding how to produce client reports
- Assisting existing clients
- Learning how to deal with new client enquiries
- A full understanding of our business model
- Attending educational seminars and meetings
- Building professional relationships
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
As part of this role you will complete the Level 4 Financial Adviser apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours of successful Financial Advisers
- Free CII membership for non-members through the CII Aspire Apprenticeship Programme
- Includes study book and exam entry for each R0 exam
The Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning includes:
- R01 Financial Services Regulation and Ethics
- R02 Investment Principles and Risk
- R03 Personal Taxation
- R04 Pensions and Retirement Planning
- R05 Financial Protection
- R06 Financial Planning Practice
- Fortnightly workshops for each R0 exam from our CII approved trainer
- All workshops recorded and available on-demand
