What will the apprentice be doing?
The role is 100% office based to enable the provision of support and guidance.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
As an Accounting Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Accountancy or Taxation Professional Apprenticeship at Level 7. Within the apprenticeship you will undertake the ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW professional qualification.
The apprenticeshipwill be completed at a BPP centre or via the Online Classroom platform, in addition to at the workplace.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Candidates that demonstrate they are competent with a willingness to grow, and continuously learn, will be moved up within the business. From Junior Accounts Assistant, to Accounts Assistant, to Accounts Manager to Snr Accounts Manager. We are looking to expand the business, so there is a great potential for growth.

- Preparation of Financial Accounts and Corporate Tax Returns
- VAT Returns
- Management Accounts
- Bookkeeping
- Payroll
- Company secretarial tasks
- Compiling working papers and Self-Assessment Tax Returns
- Compilation of Confirmation Statements
- Regular email contact with clients regarding upcoming deadlines and various queries
- Assisting with various administrative duties such as engagement letters
- In conjunction with principal/senior colleague: Taxation consultancy; and Financial valuations, plus consultancy to include advising on management & sale of businesses
