Qualifications
A Level or equivalent English (Grade Merit) Essential
A Level or equivalent Maths (Grade Merit) Essential
A Level or equivalent Physics (Grade Pass) Essential
BTEC or equivalent Engineering (Grade Pass) Desired
You will:
- Use and apply engineering principles and techniques
- Carry out calculations and data analysis
- Prepare and produce sketches and diagrams, using CAD and BIM
- Contribute to the planning, design, programming and delivery of engineering activities to agreed timescales and budgets
- Use quality systems and risk assessment procedures
- Assist in site inspections and surveys, report progress against project plans, and check specified technical aspects of site activities
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- L4 HNC in Civil Engineering
- Additional short courses and internal training programmes, e.g. on H&S Management
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Opportunities to broaden your experience through secondment to our other in-house companies like McMullen Facades, Ark M&E or Midgard
- Potential career growth to Senior Engineer or Project Manager
