KPMG in the UK is part of a global network of member firms that offers Audit, Consulting, Deal Advisory, Tax & Law and Technology services. We use our insights, sector expertise and innovative technologies to deliver outcomes that make a positive difference for businesses, people, communities and the planet.

What is Audit at KPMG?

Audit is the largest of our UK practices. Our teams provide independent insight, challenge, and high-quality audit expertise to companies of all shapes and sizes. It’s more than just numbers. Put simply, our work in audit is about examining organisations and ensuring their published accounts provide a ‘true and fair’ view of their financial position. The work we do helps to build trust in the economy and supports companies to grow sustainably, making a meaningful difference to the businesses and communities we serve.

Audit Apprenticeship

As an Audit apprentice, you’ll bring your curiosity to help our team deliver high-quality audits. As part of our diverse and supportive team, you’ll learn how to audit businesses in one or more industry sectors, from big retailers to UK banks and multinational companies. You'll gain broad experience and develop technical skills, an understanding of business and in-depth knowledge of different industry sectors - all whilst studying towards valuable professional qualifications.

The work is challenging, but also rewarding, and we’ll give you the support you need to build your confidence and thrive with us.

Training and Benefits

With the KPMG community by your side, you’ll have the support to grow in your own way, gaining learning for a lifetime. You’ll have access to funded, relevant professional qualifications or accreditations and an extensive programme of internal training geared towards your career and personal development. On this programme, you’ll study towards the AAT Levels 3 and 4, plus the Level 7 ACA professional qualification.

We offer a competitive salary and a host of great benefits too, including 25 days’ holiday, study leave and a day off on your birthday. What’s more, you can take up to six days of time off to take part in volunteering initiatives.

What we look for

KPMG is a place where you can be yourself and give your best - whoever you are and whatever your background.  We look at more than just your academic results and will also consider your strengths, values and motivations. See the specific programme page on our Careers Portal for entry requirements and our ‘How to Apply’ section for detailed application guidance.
