About the apprenticeship

Duties

NWSSP are delighted to introduce this exciting opportunity for an HR Business Administration Apprentice. This role will provide comprehensive and efficient administration support to the People and Organisational Development (HR) team, including co-ordination of meetings and learning events, preparing documentation and communicating with all levels of staff and external organisations via telephone and email.

The post holder must be able to organise their own workload efficiently using initiative where appropriate and prioritise work and respond appropriately. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking at starting a career in the NHS or re-joining the workplace and will provide the successful candidate with transferable skills and knowledge as well as a supportive team to succeed in the role.

Requirements

Skills

Communication and Relationship Skills
The post holder will be required to communicate with staff and managers at all levels in the organisation in a discreet, supportive and efficient manner.

Knowledge, Training and Experience
The post holder will have basic knowledge and understanding of working in an office environment.

Analytical and Judgemental Skills
The post holder will be required to produce, though not interpret, ESR and Workforce related reports.

Planning and Organisational Skills
The post holder will be responsible for arranging People and Organisational Development meetings e.g. venue, attendees, and papers and will be responsible for the diary management of the People and Organisational Development team.

Physical Skills
The post holder will be required to have standard keyboard skills, as they will be required to use a VDU daily.

Responsibility for Financial and Physical Resources
The post holder will monitor and maintain stationery levels.

Responsibility for Human Resources
The post holder will provide basic workforce and organisational development advice e.g. signposting staff and managers to appropriate information source. The post holder will have responsibility for personal and professional development.

Qualifications

GCSE Level (A-C Grade) or equivalent including English and Welsh
