About the apprenticeship
Duties
Will be a great sporting role-model for our children.
Can organize and run safe, structured and enjoyable activities at breakfast clubs, breaks and lunchtimes.
Will be able to support teachers while they deliver PE lessons.
Can organize and run sport and fitness sessions after school for children of all ages and abilities.
Support and lead on the YA scheme
Support teachers with organizing and maintaining equipment, following latest government guidance.
Support PE staff with attendance at events, festivals and competitions.
Provide knowledge of physical literacy approach embedded within PESSPA
Encourage new whole school initiatives to improve ‘health and wellbeing' such as the ‘daily mile' and ‘road to Tokyo'.
Work with 5×60 to offer a wide range of holistic sport and physical activity clubs
Requirements
Skills
Desirable Personal Qualities:
*The ability to speak Welsh is essential*
Strong sporting background.
Experience of coaching/working with children.
Good organizational skills.
Strong communication skills.
Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent
