What will the apprentice be doing?
  • Support robust tender processes that ensure that our supply chain is competitive and compliant with relevant legislation.
  • Work with suppliers to negotiation contracts and agree commercial terms.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of suppliers, products, and services to ensure these meet contractual obligations and KPIs.
  • Promote a first-class customer service, by providing timely and accurate commercial advice and supporting stakeholder engagement, ensuring a seamless, high-quality commercial service.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Whilst you study for a BSc (Hons) Supply Chain degree at Coventry University (one day per week), we'll provide you with a broad range of opportunities to put your learning into practice - allowing you to gain hands-on experience.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Having benefitted from a broad range of support, including guidance from seasoned industry professionals and our senior leadership team, your five-year apprenticeship will culminate in you gaining sector leading experience, a recognised degree, and Chartered Supply Chain professional status with theChartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS)- the industry gold standard for supply chain and procurement professionals.
