What will the apprentice be doing?

Through formal training and development as well as the experience you gain on the job, you will be able to develop a wide range of skills including:
You will be studying towards your Level 7 Accountancy or Taxation Professional apprenticeship through our external training provider through online access. As an apprentice you will be allocated a dedicated number of days to attend these courses.
By the end of your apprenticeship, at a minimum, you'll have achieved your professional Accountancy Qualification (ACCA or CIMA).
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
We're looking for people who are serious about learning and growing, particularly within a Finance environment, and who can take a logical, methodical, and proactive approach to work.
We support our apprentices in gaining rounded experience through our rotation programme which will be a great start to their accounting career!

Qualifications
Other Part qualified accountant or Degree (Grade 2:1 Degree / equivalent AAT L3) Essential
Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Month end accounting for Liberty Global Central including preparing journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare analysis and provide insight into areas of focus
- Working within internal reporting deadlines
- Making recommendation to improve and simplify processes
- Data processing e.g., raising invoices or performing daily bank reconciliations
- SOX compliance
- Participation in ad-hoc projects
