Job Details
We are seeking a self-motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic individual looking to begin their career in administration in the NHS. This role is seeking an apprentice to support the Corporate Governance Office in an administrative capacity.
The post holder will work alongside the team providing support in a range of administrative duties including sorting mail, answering telephone enquiries, managing general enquiries, some minute taking and meeting organisation and general office duties.
The post holder will be supported to develop lots of new skills including; prioritisation, attention to detail, using your own initiative, team working, communication skills and the ability to work in a busy and fast paced environment.
You will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with good organisational skills. You will need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality issues, be well motivated and reliable. You will be able to understand and accurately convey verbal and written information and be able to remain calm under pressure. You will present a professional and polite attitude at all times.
You will learn and develop skills using Microsoft Office and NHS systems.
Main duties of the job
Working alongside the team providing support in a range of duties including general office support, providing PA support to the Chairman, Chief Executive, Director of Corporate Governance and Associate Director of Corporate Governance, diary management, meeting support and preparation, note taking, dealing with enquiries in person, on the telephone and via email, processing mail, some project and event support, processing invoices and room bookings.

About us
This is an 18 month fixed term apprenticeship and you must be committed to work towards level 3 Business and Administration.
As an employer, we will be committed to ensuring that a structured plan is in place to support and enable you to complete your apprenticeship.
