We are looking to recruit a Software Development Apprentice to supplement our team of dedicated professionals based in our Redditch office.

Candidates will need to have a keen interest in software development with some evidence to show that you have some experience of coding in a variety of languages. We look for candidates who enjoy problem solving and team working to achieve excellent results.

Whether gained through a school/college course, or through the interest to develop your knowledge at leisure, our ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate working knowledge of at least one of the following languages:



* C#

As part of our team, you will be helping to:

* Design and build reliable code

* Integrate data storage solutions to SQL Server

* Test and trouble shoot code to identify problems prior to publishing

Desired skills

* Experience of developing software. This could be through education or in a social/leisure based environment

* Evidence of code in one or more of the following: PHP, MySQL, C#

* A high interest in current and future technologies

Working week

* Monday - Friday: 8.30am - 5pm

* Total hours per week: 37.5

Weekly wage

* GBP187.50

Training to be provided:

The successful candidate will undertake a two year nationally recognised qualification through TDM.

This is a work-based learning programme which will require commitment to block weeks in a training room once every quarter working towards the qualification along with weekly off the job training and monthly coaching sessions. You will be required to demonstrate through the standard that you meet all competencies and behaviours which will lead to the acheivement of the qualification. These block weeks will take place at either of our training centres, in Birmingham or Worcester, whichever is more suitable for your location.

You will have a designated mentor in the workplace to support your learning and at the end of programme will be assessed via an external assessment body.

This is a Level 4 qualification.

The modules will include:

* KM1 Software Developer Methodologies

* KM2 Software Languages
