We're looking for a highly motivated and extremely organised individual who loves technology and is looking to start a career in the IT. You'll be given the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects while learning new skills.

Travel to our other hubs in mainland Europe and Ireland may be required on occasion but will be kept to a minimum.


* Take and receive calls and log incidents and requests on the IT Helpdesk

* Provide remote support to end users (both internal staff and customers)

* Schedule and carry out planned maintenance and updates to IT hardware

* Ensure IT Assets are managed effectively though their lifecycle

* Support and train end users in the correct use of IT systems

* Produce detailed and clear technical and end user documentation

* Any other duties as assigned by your manager

Required Skills:

* Basic understanding of IT hardware and software

* Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work on assigned tasks without direct supervision

* Outstanding written, and oral communication skills

* Sound understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 7 -10)

* Sound understanding of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications

* Ability to prioritise tasks and complete tasks accurately in a high-pressure environment

* Driven to succeed with a strong sense of pride in the quality of work completed

* Able and happy to travel to our European hubs of operation as required

Advantageous Skills:

* Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows Server

* Basic understanding of Linux operating systems

* Awareness of Active Directory

* Awareness of TCP/IP stack

* Previous work experience working in an IT support environment

Other requirements

* This role requires a driving licence

* A full valid passport is also required

Training to be provided

Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprentice qualification together with on site training by the employer.

For those starting at Advanced (Level 3), the expected duration would be 15 months. There is an opportunity to progress on to the Higher Apprenticeship (Level 4) and ultimately on to a Degree Apprenticeship.
