Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Radio Access Optimisation Apprentice.

Job Description:

Join us on our Radio Access Optimisation Apprentice Scheme and you’ll work, earn and study towards a professional qualification, all while doing something you love!  Working in our Radio Access Optimisation team, you’ll be responsible for planning and optimising new and existing cell sites. You’ll work with other Radio Access teams, such as Planners, to work towards milestones and network quality targets across all assigned sites.  

As an apprentice, you will work alongside the wider team supporting the rollout of our mobile networks. You will produce optimisation plans to achieve quality targets in your assigned areas, as well as managing radio capacity in those sites. Other responsibilities you’ll take on include: 

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

• Producing new site data build plans to meet rollout and quality targets.
• Undertaking radio network investigations.  
• Developing migration plans to solve risks and issues that have been identified. 
• Working with various Radio software solutions to Plan, Design and Deliver the Radio Network. Using Analytical skills to maximise the capability of our network for the customer. 

Qualifications:

• 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Essential Skills

A highly organised individual that is able to lead multiple projects at one time. You’ll need to be a keen problem solver with the ability to relay information back to people of all levels effectively. Working with finances in every project, you should be able to record and budget accurately, with the confidence to ask questions when necessary. Other qualities we’re looking for include: 

• Experience with Microsoft Office. 
• Analytical thinking.
• Ability to structure tasks productively.

Training to be provided:

Estio apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Radio Network Technician qualification, with training in how to:

• Radio Network Fundamentals
• Designing a Radio Network
• Testing Radio Network
• Monitoring and Fault Finding
