You will also receive extensive internal and on-the-job coaching and support. You'll have client contact from the very start, that's why your ability to build great business relationships is just as important as your ability with numbers.
You'll be part of a team working on audit and accounts preparation assignments with a wide range of clients, so it goes without saying that you need to be someone that can be relied upon to help the team deliver outstanding levels of client care.

Our requirements - Our AAT Apprentices come from a variety of different academic and cultural backgrounds.Requirements and prospects Desired skills
Familiarity with MS Word, Excel and Outlook is essential. A driving licence is also essential, as you will have regular travel to client premises from very early on in your career with us.Personal qualities
Able to build strong relationships, attention to detail, enthusiasm, takes pride in work and delivering outstanding service, numerate, great verbal and non verbal communication skills, an ability and passion to solve complex problems.Qualifications required
We do not require AAT Apprentices to have a business or financial background. However, we do ask that applicants for our AAT apprentices programme have at least 280 UCAS points at A-level, or equivalent, all achieved during the same exam year and excluding General Studies.Future prospects We have numerous examples of Managers and even a Partner who joined us as an AAT apprentice. Many of those who have joined us as AAT students have gone on to study the ACA qualification and become chartered accountants, others have moved into specialist tax positions. We can offer a structured career path for those with ambition and the determination to develop a career in the profession.
