Tax Apprenticeship (ATT) (2017 Start)

The ATT qualification involves professional training delivered by a leading training provider on a block release basis, allowing you to come back to the office and apply - in practice - the knowledge you have gained. You will also receive extensive internal and on-the-job coaching and support.
You'll have client contact from the very start, that's why your ability to build great business relationships is just as important as your ability with numbers.
As a Tax Apprentice you'll start off by learning the fundamentals, including carrying out technical tax research, producing tax computations, advising clients on their tax requirements and negotiating with HM Revenue & Customs.
As your technical knowledge, commercial acumen and confidence grows, you'll have the opportunity to begin advising clients on their tax affairs.

We do not require Tax Apprentice to have a business or financial background. However, we do ask that applicants for our ATT trainee programme have at least 280 UCAS points at A-level, or equivalent, all achieved during the same exam year and excluding General StudiesFuture prospects Many of those who have joined us as ATT students have gone on to study the CTA qualification and become chartered tax advisers, become managers and ultimately leaders of our Firm.
