Hours: 40 hours per week

Candidate shortlisting will take place w/c 6th - w/c 13th February and assessment days will take place between w/c 20th - w/c 27th February.

Apprenticeship programme

During this Level 3 Business Administration programme, we will help you to develop your practical skills and knowledge required for you to succeed in this role as well as your future career. Throughout the 18 - month programme, you will continue to develop your behaviours such as team working, problem-solving and customer focus. Veolia as a business is not only interested in what you accomplish, but the manner you do it.

As well as gaining a broad range of technical and professional knowledge and experience, you’ll also gain academic and vocational qualifications such as Technical Knowledge Certificate in Business Administration & NVQ Competencies.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting Veolia Shropshire & Telford Contract Performance teams with day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Working with the operations team to administer and maintain waste records (weights, orders etc)
  • Checking and updating information accurately
  • Supporting the administration of comments and complaints procedures
  • Provide performance data and support the Business Manager and associated services
  • Updating service delivery plans and method statements, emergency plans and continuity plans 

What are we looking for?

  • A minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade 4 (C or equivalent) or above/predicted to include Maths & English
  • Attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Willingness to work as part of a team
  • Great communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel between Battlefield & Shropshire sites)
  • Knowledge of Google Suite/Microsoft Office (desirable)
