Job Description:
. Cleaning and organising raw data.
• Mapping data from various databases.
• Maintaining data attribute tables.
• Preliminary data investigation and analysis.
• Building automated workflows using Alteryx.
• Presenting information using Tableau dashboards.
• Validating automated reporting and uploading Tableau website reports.
• Maintaining existing workflows and checking data outputs remain complete.
• Assistance with Group finance requirements during busy periods, primarily Excel based report building and data consolidation.
- • Other administrative requirements from time to time.
- • Continuing personal development to improve future reporting capabilities.
Training Provided:
As a Data Analyst Apprentice with BPP, you will undertake the Data Analyst Level 4 higher Apprenticeship. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will complete the Dell EMC: Data Science Associate qualification.
This programme is delivered through a combination of online teaching, coaching and workplace development, in addition to a range of other sessions to ensure that you progress as a well-rounded Data Analyst.
Qualification Requirements:
GCSE A-B in English and Maths. A relevant A level, ideally including Maths or English
Personal Qualities & Skills:
SQL, Excel, Powerpoint - requirements
Alteryx / Tableau useful but not essential
Self-motivated, happy to solve problems and research solutions as they go. Strong level of attention to detail and generally inquisitive attitude. Mature and personable, able to work in a small headcount team, dealing with highly sensitive information regarding a global group means discretion is a must.
Future Prospects:
Potential for the job to grow with the candidate over time, or to move into another Group owned company. Further training requests will be considered after the level 4 course. This role is expected to require at least three years in post to fully understand and be ready for the next step.
