What will the apprentice be doing?
Working with drawings
All aspects of Engineering
Understanding of Manufaturing
CAD
Days release to college studying for an Engineering qualification, with the remainder of the time spent on site working within the engineering functions of RBSL. When in the business, you will spend time in various areas of the Engineering function to gain knowledge and understanding of how each of these area support the RBSL business. These placements will vary in length from 3 - 6 months, and will build upon the academic knowledge gained from the time at college.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Higher National Certificate in Engineering or Level 4 Higher National Certificate in Manufacturing Operations.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
On successful completion of the apprenticeship it is planned that the apprentice will exit into a role within the RBSL Engineering Team.
