What will the apprentice be doing?
  • Business support (general office and operational support)
  • People (HR processes, admin, training/CPD, immigration, and internal communications)
  • External Communications (monitoring and assisting with outside comms via phone, group emails, Intercom)

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Velocity apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, they will provide the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace and to expand future career prospects.

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their programme.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 5 Operations Manager qualification, with training in how to:
  • Operational management such as business tools, management systems, identifying and overcoming barriers, identifying opportunities and interpretation of data
  • Project management such as using tools and techniques to plan and deliver outcomes, approaches to identifying and managing risks
  • Finance such as monitoring budgets and financial implications
  • Leading people and supporting management of change
  • Building relationships
  • Communication skills
  • Managing self, such as prioritising activities and time management
  • Decision making and using evaluation techniques to support the process
