Equity Research Data Analysis Apprentice

What will the apprentice be doing?

A typical day:

• Liaising with Equity and Macro analysts and external vendors
• Listening in on discussions with analysts about potential new projects
• Liaising with external vendors on costs and project delivery timings
• Project supervision, learning about methodology, sampling, and sample target
• Liaising with external vendors on fieldwork progression (interviews & quotas achieved)
• Working with Excel, developing your data handling and analysis skills
• Designing data sets and creating table specifications
• Reviewing and checking data sets and tables in Excel to ensure data accuracy and help spot trends
• Identifying and analysing impactful data, making charts and creating data sheets for projects

• Qualification - Data Fellowship Level 4

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

After your Data Analysis Apprenticeship, you can progress into any Junior Data Analyst, Data Scientist and Data engineer role. You'll have the skills to run insight analytical projects from beginning to end and work within a Data Analytics team.
