About the apprenticeship
Duties
As a member of our Business Development team you will make an important contribution to Human Resources & Organisational Development (HR&OD) by supporting the timely and accurate collection of business and workforce information.
This offers you the opportunity earn a wage while gaining vital work experience and a nationally recognised qualification (QCF Level 3 in business administration) as part of the administrative apprenticeship framework.
You will provide general support to the Business Development Manager and HR&OD teams. As well as undertaking reporting, data interrogation, analysis and undertaking specific project work under the direction and supervision of the manager.
You will require excellent IT skills and experience of using IT Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, and have a strong desire to acquire further knowledge and skills in a working environment.
Applications will not be considered for those who have already achieved a qualification at an equivalent or higher level in same subject area including degree level.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.

• Experience of using Microsoft Office products in particular Word and Excel
• Familiarity with administrative processes and systems
• A strong desire to acquire further knowledge and skills in a working environment
• A strong desire to acquire further knowledge and skills in a working environment
• Good communication skills
• An ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to demonstrate good organisational skills
• Excellent IT skills
• Ability to carry out tasks following training and or direction
• Good attention to detail and ability to work logically and methodically
• Ability to communicate through the medium of welsh
Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Mathematics or equivalent.
• Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
