About the apprenticeship
Duties
Main function is the effective operation of the Service Reception to ensure the efficient and profitable loading of the workshop.
Attain the highest standards of work within your Department.
Booking in work and controlling the loading register.
Raising job cards and ensuring the correct information is filled out.
Completing the correct details on job card envelope system.
To monitor credit control reports for the customer's status and to ensure work falls within the customer's agreed credit limit.
Monitor completed job cards and pass through to Administration Department ensuring that all job cards are accounted for.
Control and monitor factory recalls.
Liaise with Workshop Controller/Foreman on workshop loading, work-in- progress and any technical queries.
Plan and update service planners and records.
Liaise with customers giving information on job completion, new costs and taking names or order number, preferably both.
Updating menu pricing boards.
Liaise with the Sales Department regarding their requirements and organize effectively sale preparation work.
Ensure all telephone calls are dealt with efficiently, politely and to portray a “Good Customer Caring” Company.
