The Sport & Travel Group Ltd are looking for a creative, tenacious, accomplished Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing team. The right candidates should have the necessary qualifications and be able to demonstrate a level of achievement in a cross-section of general Digital Marketing skills, ideally with a level of practical experience. This role is working under the Golf Escapes division of the company.

The job will be based in our office in rural Horsted Keynes near Haywards Heath, West Sussex and we are looking for someone who is keen to learn, adaptable, motivated and can work on their own initiative whilst fitting into a team environment.

Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Marketing Apprentice with The Sport & Travel Group, a Leisure, Specialist Travel Agency based in Horsted Keynes near Haywards Heath, West Sussex.

Job Description:

Working closely within the Marketing and Product team, under the management of the Commercial Director this Digital Marketing role will be key to developing our online presence and customer engagement, raising awareness of the company and driving new business from new and existing clients. The successful candidate will help lead the Digital Marketing strategy to deliver sustainable growth across the massive variety of golf holiday packages we sell.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

• Responsibility for your allocated tasks and responsibilities in order to grow our online presence as part of a growing and dynamic team. These will include SEO and SMO to ensure we reach our goals and targets. Support the Commercial Director in developing and evolving the Digital Marketing strategy to achieve business goals. This will include a range of activities including the use of Google Analytics to inform decision making through to the maintenance, update and development of our new website. Working with the Product Manager to improve the promotion of existing packages and product in line with the strategy of Golf Escapes. This will include PPC and reengagement campaigns to promote Golf Escapes outside of our current reach to attract new business. Digital Marketing Services and E-Commerce Solutions as appropriate to support campaigns with key partners and tourist boards.

Qualifications:

• 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Skills Required:

• Qualifications and ideally some experience ideally within the Digital Marketing sector. A track record in achieving personal and/or team targets. Managing tasks in an organised fashion to achieve results and objectives. Experience in Adobe Suite, video creation and editing with a flare for design.

• A confident and enthusiastic personality, with an ambitious and forward-thinking attitude. To be commercially minded and have a creative mindset. Precise attention to detail with a desire to succeed.

Training to be provided:

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Digital Marketer, with training in how to:

• Source, plan, develop and deploy digital content across a variety of channels including your website and social media.
• Execute multi-channel digital campaigns using online platforms.
• Monitor and evaluate channel and campaign performance using different analytical tools.
• Adopt a test and learn approach to digital marketing activities, making recommendations for improvement.
