Job Details
As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning and coordination of the OHPCI clinical, ward and on-call rota's for a large team of Consultants, Dr's and Nurse Practitioners within the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This exciting role will support the Rota Coordinator in all administration duties, coordination of rota's, actioning of annual leave requests and reporting sickness absences on the relevant Trust databases. You will be a vital member of the team and will be instrumental in ensuring our team of dedicated clinicians are supported in all aspects of their clinical timetabling and setting up of clinics on our Trust patient access system.

Main duties of the job
The Business Administration Apprentice post holder will support the Rota Coordinator in her duties, attend regular weekly and monthly meetings, be responsible for a range of tasks and cover for absences.
You must be a hardworking, pro-active, motivated, resilient and focused individual who is extremely well organised with excellent communication and time management skills.
You should also be able to work well under pressure; closely and accurately follow instructions and guidelines, and be able to prioritise your own workload under constantly changing demands.
The ideal candidate will be very confident in the use of IT software systems.
Full training will be given in the use of NHS systems.
