Job Details
Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity exists to support our hospitals help make our patients' lives better. As part of UHDB NHS Foundation Trust, the charity helps bring together five hospitals in Derby, Burton, Lichfield and Tamworth, to provide the highest quality care to patients across southern Derbyshire and south east Staffordshire. Our aim is to support the Trust in delivering outstanding care for local people helping them bring together the expertise of over 13,500 staff across five hospital sites.
To provide professional and comprehensive Digital Communications Administration Service for Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity ensuring the effectiveness of all communications and organisational systems at all times.

Main duties of the job
- Provide a high standard of administrative support in own departmental area
- Monitor the generic charity inbox and ensure emails go to the relevant parties
- Provide effective communication across all boundaries to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive Administration service
- Assist in the maintenance of Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity website using Wordpress
- To ensure all enquiries are effectively managed and successfully resolved within a prompt timescale, ensuring all relevant personnel are informed as necessary and an appropriate record is maintained
- Undertake general administration duties in respect of own department requirements I.e. diary management, organising associated activities/paperwork, arrangement of meetings, taking meeting notes and producing agendas/minutes
- Prioritise own work schedule, to ensure an efficient and timely output within all areas of responsibility, to assist in achievement of quality and audit standards
- Ensure timely delivery of regular and ad hoc, data / information requested by the management team, producing reports as required
- Use of social media analytics to produce reports on effectiveness
- Assist in the supply of charity promotional materials and merchandise stock
- Assist in any additional related project work as directed
