What will the apprentice be doing?
In the first two years, you'll study a rigorous and challenging general engineering syllabus two days per week, giving you a strong technical foundation across:
Alongside this, you will spend three days per week working with Dyson technology experts. In Years 1 and 2 you will complete four engineering rotations in the workplace which align with your studies. These rotations will be in Dyson's new product development teams or technology research teams which will give you a broad experience of the product development process. The engineering rotations will help to consolidate your understanding of engineering fundamentals in practice.
For your final two years, you'll have the opportunity to choose your preferred specialism in your studies and the workplace. We'll work with you and Dyson Technology to place you in a team depending on your skills, experience, and the business need.

The Dyson Institute is based at the Dyson Technology campus in Malmesbury, a small town in the Wiltshire countryside.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
