What will the apprentice be doing?

• Working as part of a team with awareness of Health & Safety requirements for factory processes
• Developing understanding of injection and blow moulding manufacturing processes
• Using programming languages to control robots
• Keeping records
• Solving problems
• Undertaking project evaluation and planning

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

• B(Eng) Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Nationally-recognised Manufacturing Engineer Apprenticeship Certificate

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

As experience is gained, the apprentice's position will adapt and change, to meet the business' needs. Doing this will enable the apprentice to gain vital knowledge of the way the business operates and functions.

Things to consider

We are seeking a candidate who has as a minimum of 7 GCSE's (including maths) and who has 3 A Levels (preferably including a good grade in maths). Relevant BTEC vocational qualifications at Level 3, Level 3 Apprenticeships, and relevant Work Experience are welcomed. Applicants will preferably be able to drive (although travel is not part of the job role). The successful candidate will need to travel to University for day release. Relocation package offered.
