What will the apprentice be doing?
Our four-year engineering apprenticeship is a great opportunity to learn on the job whilst getting paid. You'll apply the theory you learn atChichester University 1-2 days per weekto real-life engineering problems in the workplace and gain a relevant Engineering Degree with excellent career prospects!
Some of the tasks you may be involved in include the following:
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The apprentice will attend the University of Chichester for 1-2 days a week during term time.
Upon successful completion, apprentices will be awarded a Electrical and Electronic Technical Support Engineer Degree Apprenticeship, which includes the BEng Electronic and Electrical Engineering degree.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
As a Degree Apprentice you'll be prepared for a wide variety of Engineering roles. During your apprenticeship with us, you will undertake a range of rotations in different departments, so you can find out what you're most interested in pursuing, we can support your career choices from there.

NVQ or SVQ Level 3 or equivalent Engineering (Grade (Grade Merit)) Desired

- Write project proposals describing the purpose, and reports, describing the outcome.
- Learning vacuum and abatement science and understanding our customers applications.
