What will the apprentice be doing?
We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our
team as a Structural Engineering Apprentice.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced structural engineers to learn the skills and knowledge needed to design and analyse the structural components of domestic building projects, as well as produce technical drawings. The work generally includes house alterations; extensions; as well as bespoke new houses.
As an apprentice, the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work on real projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience while receiving on-the-job training.

Responsibilities:
- Attend site visits to gather information and measurements
for projects - Production of technical drawings using AutoCAD and
- Revit, including plans and details
- Assist senior structural engineers in the design and
analysis of structural components for domestic building
projects - Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and
solutions to engineering challenges - Adhere to all health and safety regulations and
guidelines
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Civil Engineering Senior Technician (Level 4).
- English & Maths Functional Skills if required.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full time employment.
