What will the apprentice be doing?
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
We will teach you how to use programmes such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) to produce drawings for building and infrastructure projects. You will learn technical skills such as civil engineering calculations and report writing.
At the end of your apprenticeship, you'll achieve a BEng in Civil Engineering.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once completing your apprenticeship you will be qualified to pursue a career as a fully qualified Civil Engineer and work towards chartership with the Insititute of Civil Engineers

Qualifications
A Level or equivalent in three subjects including Maths or Further Maths (Grade B) Essential
BTEC or equivalent Extended Diploma in Engineering (Grade DDM) Desired
- During your apprenticeship you will get involved in the design of highways and residential development projects
- Use relevant software and programs such as Computer Aided Design (CAD), and produce drawings for construction
- You will be involved in some of our projects from start to finish
- Our projects include a mix of public and private sector schemes, including some significant development, infrastructure and regeneration project
